Ingredients

Instructions
To make Nasi Arab Ayam, first heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring often, until the onion is softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Next, add the coriander, cumin, turmeric, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, salt, and sugar. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the chicken cubes and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until the chicken is cooked through.
Add the rice and water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
Stir in the cilantro, yogurt, and raisins. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.
