Mee Bandung is a delicious Malaysian delicacy that has become popular in the past couple of years. Ingredients
To make a delicious Mee Bandung, you will need the following ingredients: 500g of noodles, 1/2kg of fish, 1/2kg of prawns, 1/2kg of squid, 1/2kg of other seafood, 1/2 cup of oil, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/2 cup of fish sauce, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 green chili, 1 red chili, 1 teaspoon of curry powder, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
To make the Mee Bandung, first bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook for about 5 minutes. Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water. Next, heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and add the fish, prawns, squid, and other seafood. Cook until the seafood is cooked through.
Add the onion, tomato, chili, curry powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are cooked. Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Finally, add the noodles and stir-fry for another few minutes until everything is cooked through.
Serving
Serve the Mee Bandung with a side of vegetables or some fresh herbs. Enjoy!
